Meshech
Medium: Interactive Web Experience
Creators: Ori Zeiger, Noam Karutchi
Meshech is an interactive web-based experience inspired by the meditative walking practice of Neot Semadar. The project explores walking as a metaphor for inner reflection, drawing from the desert landscape as a space for self-inquiry and awareness.
Users embark on a solitary walk through an endless digital desert. As the journey unfolds, visual symbols—representing thoughts, emotions, and inner impressions—emerge along the path. Users can choose to interact with these floating images or let them pass by, reflecting the personal decision to engage with or release one's thoughts.

Interaction Design
The core mechanic reinterprets traditional scrolling behavior:
Faster scrolling slows down the journey, encouraging the user to pause, observe, and be present, mirroring the effort required to slow down in real life and find stillness.
Each visual prompt invites users to take an active role in their process of reflection, in the spirit of Neot Semadar’s values.
Tools:
The Demo was created in Adobe XD, and the experience was developed as a responsive web experience using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with custom logic to handle scroll-to-progress inversion and dynamic content loading.
